Fun File Folder Games

My 2 1/2 year old loves file folder games. He is always begging to play a "game." They have also been a really great and cheap learning tool. Right now he is learning his colors and shapes. They are really simple but work great. I just buy contact paper to laminate them in. You can find this in the housewares section at wal-mart. I print out the pieces on card stock which is a little more heavy duty for kids. They also have carrying cases at places like Wal-mart & Target for stuff like this. I love the cases because they work great for taking some to church. Thanks to mormonchic.com for these great ideas! There are also a Noah's ark, family tree, flower garden, and matching opposites on this site. Ill share some others in future posts!

Grapefruit Seed Extract

I am a little new to the world of grapefruit seed extract (GSE) but so far I love it. In mid February I started getting a sore throat and we were getting ready to go out of town. I didn't want to be sick on the trip, who does? So I added some GSE to a glass of water and gargled with it and swallowed what I could at the end. That did the trick! The sore throat was gone. We also used it on a cold sore my husband was getting the other day. Its gone! So far I am a huge fan of this stuff. You can use it for anything. Such a great thing to have in your home. The Enlightened Homemaker is in Arizona but she can ship you your orders. Anyways I think my GSE was like $12.00. Not bad at all. The best part are the health benefits.

Naturally made soap

Doesn't this picture make you want to buy this soap? Etsy has such fun things. This soap includes coconut oil and essential oils among other things. For $3.90 it makes such a fun gift for Mother's day or any other fun occasion. Now I want to learn how to make soap! If your interested in this product you can click here!

Printer Ink

Just a quick follow-up in the 4inkjets.com information I posted a while ago. I ended up ordering a bunch of cartridges in bulk because it was even cheaper. They work perfect and last just as long as a regular cartridge from the store. These are re-manufactured ink cartridges. I got them for less than half the price I use to pay for my ink in store. Use the code PATTY99 to get an additional 10% off. It expires the 18th of March.

Zaycon Foods

If you didn't check out Zaycon foods last time I posted about them you might want to. They are doing another savings event in Arizona on the 18th of March. I ordered from them in January and split my order with two others. We ended up going through the chicken like crazy. I already needed more chicken so I ordered again. Its so juicy and tender I cant imagine going back to store bought chicken. I am still hoping they do ground beef sometime soon as well. Its also such a great price! Ill keep you posted on further information.
